Let's have fun at Port Denison Sailing Club!  
Little Pirates is a morning session of making new friends, playing games together, learning some sailing words and terms, developing environmental awareness around the wind and water, and getting confident around the Sail Qube training boats.  
It is recommended that students attend two or three Little Pirates sessions to become familiar with terminology and basic boat confidence with the goal of moving towards Big Pirates lessons as age, maturity and confidence permits.  Big Pirates lessons focus on on-water sailing in the shallows under close supervision and instruction in order to progress to Green Fleet (independent sailing with close instruction a little further from shore).  

A Parent/Guardian is to attend to give emotional, physical and behavioural support as required by this younger age group.  

All instructors are Australian Sailing qualified sailing instructors who hold safe working with children Blue Cards and have experience with instructing children of all ages in sailing.
