Port Denison Sailing Club is pleased to present GREEN FLEET Learn to Race coached racing this term for children aged 6+ who have previously participated in Term 1's Green Fleet Coached Racing and who are currently members of the club. 
We continue to work towards the the goal of moving towards joining club racing/preparing for Yeppoon in September/sailing in the Sail Bowen in November.  Please speak to instructor Johanna to see if your child is ready for this next step before registering.  
The lessons will be presented in a fun and interactive way with activities and drills aimed at this age group.
Water confidence is essential to join Green Fleet Learn to Race as we sail further from the beach. 
Students will sail in the Club's "Qube" learner boats, or in their own/club Optimists, with lifejackets supplied.
Students need to bring their swimmers, a stinger suit, hat, sunscreen, towel and water bottle.
Each session runs for 1.5 - 2 hours and we ask that parents attend in order to assist with moving equipment to and from the water's edge as required.  

Total cost for this term: $55 (Cost per session is $15, with the final session $10 as we aim to join the Club Racing that day)

Note: This is not an Australian Sailing accredited course and instead is conducted by the school/club/organisation, outside of the Australian Sailing framework.
